LJ: Who is a woman that inspires you?

My Mother! She’s an inspiration as a mother but also an actual hero, she recently did CPR on my dad and saved his life.

LJ: What are you working on right now that you're most excited about?

I took an art class with some friends this winter and I loved every second of it, I can’t wait to take some more. Besides that, I’ve been reading and cooking a lot this winter. I loved the last two books I read, Demon Copperhead and We all want Impossible things. I’m just getting into Horse right now.

LJ: What is your greatest superpower as a woman?

I don’t think I really have any superpowers, but my greatest joy in life has been being a mother.

LJ: What is your favorite gathering to host?

I love a family dinner with our parents, siblings and cousins. We all have such fun together and they are super gracious about my cooking. Ha.

LJ: What is your best hosting secret?

Fun music, a good cheese plate and something nice to drink makes everyone feel happy and at home.
